On Opening:
Beautiful vibrant crimson appearance followed by an immediate hit of freshly crushed berry fruits: raspberry; loganberry and ripe dark plums in predominence. Finishes long with light tannin but continuous sweet fruit.
After 1-2 hours:
A very absorbing wine: with sweet, chewy, cool fruits (berries and stone fruits) permeating the entire palate. These broad fruits drive through to a very dry, clean finish. Classical pinot noir which always suggests a new taste, each time you sip. One of the best Estates we have made.
After 24 hours:
Nothing out of place…. Still vibrant and fruitful; grippy finish. Freshness and strength of the wine suggests a cellar life beyond ten years.
Cellaring potential:
Good drinking: 2022 plus
Long-term potential: 2027+
